Hi, and welcome to Mi Casa.
Mi Casa is exactly that, my house. It was built as a home when I was pregnant with my first child and therefore, unlike many rental properties the living area is very spacious. I have had to leave Roatan for a while due to family illness, but at some point in the future I will return to my home. In the meantime, mi casa es su casa, my house is your house and I hope you will feel comfortable there on your vacation.
2 bedrooms – 1 queen bed, 1 double bed – shower/wc, large open plan kitchen/diner/living area with additional single bed, large balcony with hammocks. Located in West End, close to all amenities.
Mi Casa is just a short walk from the heart of West End. Turn down the track next to the Splash Inn restaurant and just keep going straight. There is no need to hire a car as everything is close by. Dive Shops, gift shops, restaurants and bars are all a short walk away. There are a couple of small grocery stores and seafood and vegetables can be bought from trucks that are usually parked close to the Cannibal Cafe. There are now two ATM machines in West End, so there really is no need to go into Coxen Hole unless you really want to! There are beaches in West End with great snorkelling, but if you feel like a change West bay is a short water taxi ride away.
All the dive shops in West End offer a range of courses in a variety of languages. The best thing to do is pop in to a few and just see who you like the most. All include equipment in the price, so you don't need to carry your heavy dive gear with you. There are a variety of other activities available for non divers. The dolphins at Anthony's Key are worth a visit, and I love the Iguana Farm in French Harbour. For advice on what to do and help in organising activities and taxis to get you there, ask Tanja, who will check you in to the house.
